For several years I've had a problem with my shoulder: it's very unstable and has frequently subluxed. In 2007 I had an operation to stabilise it and, although that worked, my shoulder started to deteriorate again so I recently had a second operation: a Bristow-Laterjet procedure.

It was only a short one and a half hour procedure but it has a far longer recovery time: I need to wear a sling for a month and won't be completely back to normal for six months.
